The eNCPT is an online publication that contains the full collection of standardized terminology (over 1,700 terms) and a comprehensive explanation of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP). Together the NCP and eNCPT support a systematic approach to practice. The eNCPT continues to offer all the peer-reviewed content of previous versions, but with new features to improve user experience.

The eNCPT is updated annually to provide the most current terminology applicable in all practice settings. The latest eNCPT features the addition of intervention terms focused on population level applications, new guidance on reassessment, and malnutrition terms addressing severity in adults and children.

Matching and modeling of the eNCPT for SNOMED CT and LOINC is available to subscribers using the terminology in an EHR. Individual, student, and group subscriptions are available. for more information.

User Friendly: With the improved toolbar at the top of the screen, users can easily get to any section of the eNCPT immediately, no matter where they are on the site. The Scribd tool allows the user to scroll through PDFs on the screen without downloading first, and annotate your pages.

Translations: The Academy collaborates with international dietetic associations to produce eNCPT translations. These translations are easily accessible to all subscribers when launching the eNCPT .Currently, translations are available in Swedish (Sweden), German (Switzerland), French (Canada), Danish (Denmark), Norwegian (Norway), Chinese (China, simplified), and Chinese (Taiwan, traditional). Forthcoming are translations in Spanish (Mexico) and Portuguese (Brazil).

Electronic Health Record Toolkit: The revised toolkit is now available to all eNCPT subscribers on the eNCPT website. This valuable resource guides users in integrating the eNCPT within an EHR system.
