The governance of the Chamber, the direction of its work, and the control of its prop- erty is the responsibility of the Board of Directors. The Board is elected to represent a broad cross section of area business and professional leaders. The Board sets the policy of the Chamber and guides its direc- tion through the adoption of the annual program of work. Each Director is essential to the suc- cess of the Chamber.
The Chamber is currently seeking nominations to serve a three-year term on its Board of Directors beginning in 2020. Service on the Chamber Board of Directors involves attending regular and special Board of Directors meetings, visibly rep- resenting the Chamber Board and the business community by attending Chamber events and participating in the discussion of long-term vision and goals for the Chamber.
Qualifying nominees must be an Ardmore Chamber of Commerce member in good standing, who is involved in their community and have demonstrated leadership qualities.
Pursuant to the By Laws of the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce, Inc., (Article IV, Section 2A), notice is hereby given that the following individuals have been appointed to the Chamber of Commerce Nominating Committee: • Blake Bush, Blake Bush Family Eyecare, Inc.

• Dianne West, Oasis Staffing • Nancy Sjulin, Citizens Bank and Trust
• Daniel Romo, Casa Romo Cocina Mexicana
Chamber members in good standing may submit to the Nominating Committee names of individuals they wish to serve on the Board of Directors. All names of individuals must be submitted by June 17. 2019. The names to be nominated can be submitted to Mita Bates with a brief nomination narrative at email@example.com
