BUSINESS AFTER HOURS 2019 KICKOFF: SPOTLIGHT ON RESTAURANTS
It is time to kick off 2019’s Business After Hours!
As is Chamber tradition, we will start the year with our annual Business After Hours Spotlight on Restaurants!
This year’s Business After Hours Spotlight on Restaurants will be held on January 8, 2019 at the Ardmore Convention Center beginning at 5:00 pm. Spotlight- ing our member restaurants is a fantastic way to start the year. Each restaurant who participates in the event will be provided a booth and can introduce attend- ees to new menu items or old favorites by providing samples of their food. There is no cost for the booth, but we do ask you to bring enough food samples to serve around 75 people.
The Ardmore Chamber of Commerce is always an advocate for local businesses and encour- ages everyone to shop and dine locally.
Ardmore has a wide variety of dining options from national chains to iconic local restaurants. The benefits of spending dining dollars locally include:
to keep our business and money local.
• Local spending generates lasting impact on the prosperity of local organizations and residents. • A study in Austin, Texas found that $100 spent at a local business produced an additional $45 worth of local economic activity. It just makes sense
• Small businesses donate more than twice as much per sales dollar to local non-profits, events, and teams compared to big businesses.
Independent businesses employ more people directly per dollar of revenue. They are also the customers of local printers, accountants, wholesalers, farms, attorneys, etc.
