“NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS” AT THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS AUCTION
The 21st Annual Festival of Lights auction ushers in the holiday season at the Ardmore Convention Center on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. This year’s theme is “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and it’s sure to bring ignite the holiday spirit in all of us! This annual fundraiser is the primary source of fund- ing that ensures the Festival of Lights grows and improves every year.
As always, we will have our silent and live auctions, happy hour, entertainment and lots of fun! The silent auction will open at 5:30 pm followed by a live auction beginning at 7:00 pm. The Silent Auction includes several of this year’s top 20 toys for Christmas, all kinds of fun and eclectic items, as well as certificates for professional services, game tickets, dinners, gift baskets and more. The live auction provides guests an opportunity to bid and purchase unique items for themselves or as a great holiday present.
This year offers some special new treats. Courtyard Marriott of Ard- more will be serving delicious hot
chocolate and we may even have a surprise visit from the Big Man in Red himself! We’ll have some- thing for everyone, so bring the kids along! “The Festival of Lights Auction is always a great way to kick off the holiday season. This year’s event will have a family friendly orientation – feel free to bring the entire family,” states Mita Bates, President of the Ardmore Chamber.

Since its inception, the auction has raised over $150,000 through the Chamber of Commerce Foundation, which is reinvested directly into the expansion and maintenance of the drive through display at Regional Park. For over 20 years, it’s been the support of the community and donations from local business owners and individuals that have made this
