IFHE CONGRESS

26th IFHE Congress in switch to a virtual event

The 26th International Federation of Healthcare Engineering Congress, due to be held in Rome in May 2020, will be held as an online event on 24-28 January 2021. The rescheduled event will explore the approach, the work organisation and the future role of hospital engineering towards a new healthcare vision in a COVID world.

The extension of movement restriction measures amid the COVID-19 health emergency has made it mandatory for the International Federation of Healthcare Engineering (IFHE) to review the programming of the 26th IFHE 2020 Congress and the 50th anniversary ceremony originally scheduled to take place in Rome in May. The 26th IFHE Congress will now

take place as an online event between 24-28 January 2021. The decision to postpone the 26th

Congress was certainly not easy, but was primarily made to protect the health and wellbeing of all of us. Given the importance of the appointment and the numerous memberships, the virtual event respects both national and international COVID-19 provisions in place. It will be a new type of Congress that will see us all connected and close – even if physically located far away. We are working to offer an even more special event and make it a great success for all of us.

The virtual meeting will take place on

a completely new interactive online platform. You will be able to meet the sponsors, take part in engaging workshops and join meetings with the major experts in your field. You can find the updated programme
