CLASSIFIED RECRUITMENT CONTRACTS MANAGER – FLOORING


Rees Flooring are looking for experienced Contracts Managers to operate in the London and Home Counties area.


The successful candidate should: • be enthusiastic, self –motivated, well organised and pro-active • hold a valid CSCS card and SMSTS • be able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required • be from a contracts management background • have a good level of IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office • have excellent verbal and written communication skills


Duties will include: • managing high value contracts • responsibility from the initial set up to completion and final account of mid to large flooring contracts • co-ordinating with estimators and using Callidus digitising software • ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget • focusing on a high level of customer service • implementing company safety policy and site safety instructions • directing site supervisors and making sure that the flooring installation is carried out in a professional manner


• directing floorlayers, carpet and wood installers • co-ordinating with main contractor site management • writing contractual letters • liaising with our Contracts Director and keeping him informed of project related progress • working to our quality plan ensuring quality management of the project from start through to completion • making certain that we complete works to programme • working to our environmental policy, keeping waste to a minimum and reducing deliveries wherever possible

Solid Floor supplies and installs premium hardwood flooring. Our floors are specified by many of the UK’s leading architects and interior designers. The role involves planning and organising multiple, various sized installation projects. We have a small team of dedicated and experienced installers. From visiting the site and quantifying plans through to job completion and sign off, the successful applicant must be able to deal with highly demanding clients. Strong admin and people management skills are essential. The key responsibility will be to ensure projects are completed to an excellent standard, profitably and on time.


The successful candidate will be:


• Be experienced in the flooring/construction trade • Be able to run multiple jobs at once • Be able to read and understand technical drawings and tender documents
