This year’s 36th annual event will be taking place on Saturday 9 May, the day after the VE Day Bank Holiday.

Come and join in the fun - make up a 3-strong team to charm the worms out of the ground - use whatever you like but remember no digging!

The all-important fancy dress theme this year is VE Day. So whether you are a charmer or a spectator don the appropriate gear and come as a land girl or maybe a war veteran and join in the wormcharming fun.

This popular, family fun day which draws competitors and spectators from all around will also host the popular and much-loved dog show and the music and beer festival at The George Inn with prizes for winners and all profits donated to Devon Air Ambulance and other local good causes.

The precise location of the wormcharming field remains a closely guarded secret until the competition itself. To find it you’ll need to join the parade through the village !

Free car parking will be available in the village. Look out for the signposts and the local Young Farmers who will direct you to the car park Hope for sun and come and join in the fun!
