Background


When a faulty freezer caused a fire in the basement of a fish and chip shop in Maidenhead, the unit and flat above it sustained major fire and smoke damage.


The insurance covered around 80% of the works and the rest was funded by the landlord.


Outcome


A complete refurbishment, structural repairs and new services were installed at the site. The project was completed to the client’s timescales and within budget.
