tion has claims to have moved ahead of its competitors with the INSIGHT 4K HFR 360 Multi-View 3D projector, which is said to offer a truly immer- sive, collaborative and interac- tive 3D experiences. With Multi-View 3D projec- tion, a single projector with ul- tra-fast frame rates will be able to accommodate several view- ers, each being tracked and each having a view of the im- age that remains appropriate to their changing position. This allows the users to see and in- teract with each other in a truly shared, collaborative manner. Previously, the ultra-fast frame rates required for a multi-viewer 3D system have meant sacrificing resolution - and therefore image fideli- ty. Digital Projection was not willing to accept such a com- promise. The new INSIGHT 4K HFR 360 offers both native 4K and high frame rate - thanks to the thousands of hours in- vested by Digital Projection’s team of experts and their un- surpassed experience in 3-chip DLP projection. Instead

of providing 120

frames per second, which is enough for single user 3D, our INSIGHT 4K HFR 360 delivers an unrivalled 360 frames per second at native 4K resolu- tion, enabling content creators to serve three independent, high-resolution 3D views with just one projector. The addition

of a second projector to the sys- tem increases the unique user 3D views to six.

Epson: number one in Pro AV projectors

Using valuable customer insights, Epson has made changes to not only maintain its position as number one in the market share for projectors for 17 years. The company is now the market share glob- al leader for projectors above 6,000 lumens. This position places Epson 9 percentage points higher than its nearest rival. With a 35% volume share of the ProAV market in the UK, Epson is now the leading ProAV market share leader for the first time ever. The company is the number one Pro AV projec- tor vendor across EMEAR and CIS following 3 years of con- tinuous growth. Epson has ex- tended its position as leading projector manufacturer in the Pro AV and installation market above 6,000 lumens across EMEAR & CIS, according to latest market share data from Futuresource. Epson now

commands 34 per cent of the Pro AV market across EMEAR, an increase of 12 percentage points over the same period last year, with market share continuing to increase. Across the world, Epson has held the number one market share position for projectors for 17 successive years, with total global sales of projectors of 23.7 million since 2006. Epson is now the market share global leader for projectors above 6,000 lumens com- manding a 31% volume share, some 9 percentage points higher than its nearest rival. In addition, for the first time, Ep- son has now taken the lead as the ProAV market share leader in the UK with a 35% volume share.
