Summary


After graduating as a Building Surveyor at the University of Westminster, I joined the Daniel Connal Partnership, a firm of Chartered Surveyors based in the City of London. Upon receiving my MRICS qualifications, in March 2005 I moved to Sanderson Weatherall, a firm of Chartered Surveyors based in the London’s West End. In April 2007 I joined Kempton Carr, as a senior Chartered Building Surveyor. Kempton Carr became Kempton Carr Croft in September 2007. In January 2016 I was promoted to Head of Dilapidations and Head of Contract Administration departments.


Experience


My professional activities include  Acting as Contract Administrator on a variety of residential, commercial and industrial construction projects; refurbishment and fit-out projects; office and dilapidations related refurbishments; demolition works projects; structural repair projects; refurbishment and resurfacing of car parks projects, office to residential conversion projects; insurance related works related to fire and flood damage and repair and restoration of historic and listed buildings.


 Acting as Principal Designer in accordance with Construction Design & Management Regulations 2015.  Preparation of Planned Maintenance Schedules & Quinquennial Reports.  Providing defect analysis related advice and recommendations for all types of properties.  Providing professional advice to Landlords and Tenants in relation to dilapidations matters, including preparation of Terminal and Interim Schedules of Dilapidations on behalf of Landlords, defending claims on behalf of Tenants and resolution of disputes.


 Preparation of Schedules of Condition for all types of properties.  Acting as Building Owner’s and Adjoining Owner’s surveyor in relation to Party Wall Act matters, including resolution of disputes.


 Assessment of costs for construction works for residential and commercial projects including reviewing build costs for the purpose of financial viability in Planning for both Local Authorities and private developers.  Expert Witness and Building Dispute matters, including resolution of disputes.
