Learn the Secrets to Healing with EFT


EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques — which means that there are many different techniques within EFT. For those who have tried EFT and haven’t gotten good results, here are a few of the possible reasons why:


SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT Tapping on upper body meridian points sends a calming signal that redirects the brain to let go of negative emotions, thoughts and self-defeating behaviors. It does work! If you have only tried EFT by following a book or online video, you may not have gotten the results that you expected. Try working with a certifi ed coach.


THE GOOD NEWS Once you learn how to tap on your personal issues, you can use these techniques on your own and for the rest of your life to main- tain peace and a clear mind. You will see changes in our very fi rst session.


THERE ARE MANY EFT TECHNIQUES. HERE ARE A FEW EXAMPLES OF WHY EFT MIGHT NOT WORK:


• You are trying to apply EFT to more than one thing at a time. • The problem you have chosen is not specifi c enough. • A second issue is interfering. • A “secondary gain” (hidden benefi t) is interfering. • A “blocking belief” is interfering. • A deeper issue is interfering.


• You are switching to different parts of the experience/memory during the tapping session.

SOME EXAMPLES OF ISSUES THAT CLIENTS WHO FIRST TRIED TO WORK BY THEMSELVES, AND THEN WORKED WITH AN EFT COACH:


Lauren’s issues with fear surrounded her whole life. The problem started when she was very young and stemmed from her interac- tion with her angry and often raging father. She had tapped about her dad’s anger and rage, but her memories were blurry. She tried to tap generally on her fear about dad. When that didn’t work she called me. In our fi rst session, after asking her a few questions, I used an EFT technique to work with the sensation in her body and her feelings when she thought about her fear of her dad. Once that was cleared, we proceeded to work on current issues about which she was fearful. After several sessions she truly felt empowered for the fi rst time in her life, and stood strong in her own truth and strength.


Theresa had an issue with emotional eating. She had tried many diets but had always failed. She would often lose weight and then regain it quickly. After consulting her about her habits, feelings and history, we cleared out the core issues that were causing her to eat for comfort. She is now losing weight and is only eating for sustenance. She no longer eats to numb or soothe her emotions.


John had trauma from a horrible accident when he was in his 20’s. Now in his 50’s, he continued to have pain in his shoulder. We used a less invasive technique so we could easily tap on every part of the memory without John becoming triggered and upset. All shoulder pain was released. A year later he is still trauma- and pain-free.


Cynthia came to work with me because she felt overwhelmed and unappreciated at work and at home. She would become angry and frustrated because she had so much to do and could not possibly get it all done. She suffered from migraines and an upset stomach. We used another technique that enabled her to access her earlier feelings and memories. This helped her identify the source of her false belief that she had to be a people-pleaser, or she wouldn’t be liked or loved. After a few sessions, she completely released her stomach aches and migraines. She is calm and fl ows through her day. She doesn’t have false guilt about not being everything to everyone. If some emotional issue does come up, she has learned which techniques to use and now properly taps on her issues
