Registered charity 1037505 COURSES AT HIGHAM HALL

Every six months, Higham publishes an attractive new brochure containing the 200 learning experiences we bring to the Cockermouth region, each led by expert Tutors from all over the country.

Lots of our Courses are multi-day affairs, with enough time to scratch beneath the surface of a subject or activity. We have Day Courses too and some talks, demos and the odd concert. Students can stay over but non- residential places are always available - all you miss are bed and breakfast.

Many people return to Higham, having

discovered and enjoyed its simple magic formula of civilised pursuits punctuated by decent nourishment in a pleasant setting. Newbies are always welcome.

We strive to be a positive example of how Lifelong Learning can both survive

and thrive and are proud of still being here after a decade of independence.

If you’d like a brochure, get in touch and we’ll happily post one, pop up to see us, or check our website.
