GET THE FEELGOOD FACTOR AT COCKERMOUTH LIVE! Not many days to go now before

Cockermouth comes alive with the sounds of more than 500 performers over the weekend of 29th June to 1st July.

Bob Pritchard, chair of the tiny committee that gets this great event on the road said: “This year’s Live! is definitely the biggest and best yet.

We’ve got performances for everyone in 16 venues throughout the town, which this year include Seth’s Bar in Marketplace (for Folk, Roots and Blues), Fredericks (for Jazz), Fletchers (for rock bands), St. Joseph’s Church Hall (for drama) as well as loyal supporters such as the Coffee Kitchen, Wild Zucchini, Moon and Sixpence and Wordsworth House.”

Question: Where will you find a Grand Piano in a shoe shop?

Strolling for Shoes – check it out!

The 500 performers range from youth groups such as the Osprey Cheerleaders, Stagecoach and the Kirkgate youth theatre, to the FitnActive drama group, CADS, U3A dancers, Scottish country dancing, family ukulele workshops, guitar and whistle folk workshops, choirs, ensembles, pop, blues and folk
