Go Fish, Go! O

n Tuesday, May 8, the Winni- peg Goldeyes’ new season be- gan in earnest. Our two-time

defending champions played their first exhibition game at Shaw Park against the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks! We wish the Goldeyes every success for the 2018 season, and hope they'll go for the hat-trick. Go Fish, Go! You can catch every moment of the action here, on CJNU 93.7 FM, on BellMTS TV Chan- nel 725, at and via free mobile apps such as TuneIn and Simple Radio. Of course, we know that not ev-

eryone is a sports fan... and we're de- lighted to confirm something that we announced at our AGM back in April. We've been quietly working away, and CJNU is proud to be able to offer CJNU MUSIC, a web-based, music-only web stream, which will continue to play the great nostalgic CJNU tunes you know and love during baseball season! Simply

head to to listen to this new second stream. CJNU MUSIC will only be available during Goldeyes games. At all other times it will carry a simulcast of the main CJNU station output. Live play-by-play of the Winnipeg Goldeyes will continue to be carried on 93.7, BellMTS channel 725, and via our main stream/mobile

apps as per the schedule on our website. This second stream has been intro-

duced following feedback from some of our members over the course of our past two seasons with the Goldeyes. This op- tion follows very positive discussions with several of the folks at the Winni-

peg Goldeyes office. We know that we have many listeners and members who enjoy the games, and many more who came for the baseball and stayed for the music, so we're very happy to be able to continue to deliver “The Music and The Message” year round.

CJNU in the community

CJNU radio works closely with community groups to provide public service announcements (PSAs) throughout the broadcast day. In April we helped promote numerous events at nonprofit and charitable organizations, in addition to providing personal CJNU representation, time permitting. Here’s just a sample of these activities.
