and the English Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Hereford Cathedral’s Director of Music Geraint Bowen.

The evening drew together many of Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust’s international donors and supporters, along with representatives of its key trusts and foundations, who have supported the cathedral extensively over the past 20 years.

“It was a wonderful evening of celebration”, said the Dean of Hereford; “it was an opportunity to bring together friends from around the world who care about Hereford Cathedral and who have supported us. Guests travelled from as far away as Texas, Tokyo and

Melbourne. The concert highlighted the quality and range of our music and liturgy, along with the regard in which the cathedral is held, nationally and internationally”.

During the evening The Prince had the opportunity to meet all the guests attending, along with members of the cathedral choir, choral society and orchestra.

The event celebrated The Prince’s long association with Hereford Cathedral, which he first visited in the 1980s, and his subsequent involvement with the Perpetual Trust, of which he has been Patron since 2004.
