DRIVE IT DAY on 22nd April

This is a special day created by the federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs to celebrate all that is best in historic vehicles, by encouraging owners to take them out and drive them on the Sunday nearest to St. George’s Day.

Wigton Motor Club run monthly autotests through the year at various venues and these are an ideal way to start off in motorsport. Drivers who did start in autotests include rally driver Colin McRae and stunt drivers Russ and Paul Swift, who were both multiple national champions. Our events take place at a variety of venues including Maryport Business Centre and during the summer, we run them on grass at various farms.
