How have you seen the industry


change over the 25 years you’ve been operating?


After almost 25 years, we’ve seen a huge amount of change. Today’s HVAC systems are technically advanced and energy efficient resulting in the development of systems that utilise new technologies such as low NOX boilers, Mitsubishi’s HVRF hybrid system and Airedales unique ‘Inrow’ server room cooling. Consequently today’s service & installation technicians have to be specialist in the particular discipline they are working within, albeit refrigeration, heating, ventilation, plumbing, gas or controls. Our longest serving engineer Bryan has


been with the company for over 20 years. Bryan is typical Macair – an exceptional engineer with expert knowledge on pretty

when faced with the eternal question – “how much will this cost?” Bryan’s answer is usually the same – “for now, just a cup of coffee thanks!”
