Day 4: Espelette, Ainhoa, Sare, St-Jean-de-Luz, San Sebastian. In the morning, departure for Espelette. At Atelier du Piment. Ramuntxo, the Peppermaster tells the story of hot pepper and how it is used in multiple ways for cooking and invites you to taste some specialities of the Basque Country. Your tour continues with short stop overs in Ainhoa and Sare, typical villages of the Basque Country. Then you will be heading to St-Jean-de-Luz. Guided visit of the harbour and the historic city with its natural heritage, sites and museums. Transfer to San Sebastian on the Spanish side of the Basque Country hotel. Dinner & overnight at your hotel. Day 5: Guernica, Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, San Sebastian. In the early morning departure for Guernica, a Spanish city devoted to peace that is also sheltering Picasso’s famous anti-war.
