Drum Circle Event at Kindred Spirits Monument

leton Arts Festival will once again hold a drum circle at the Monument to Choctaw Nation this Halloween, on Sunday, 29 October. The three-pronged event


will begin at 10am with two workshops held at Midleton Community Centre, before finishing with a drum circle from 3pm at


the Kindred

the upcoming Kindred Spirit Drum Circle event are free of


charge and open to people of all ages. The first of the day’s events will run from 10am until noon with a drum making work- shop at Midleton Communi- ty Centre. This workshop will showcase how to make drums using a variety of junk ma- terial such as plastic bottles, sticks, lids, buttons, tin cans, plastic and cardboard tubes, etc. The second part of the day’s events will be a rhythm workshop to teach drumbeat- ing which will be held at the same venue from 12.30pm until 2.30pm.
