Park Avenue, pleaded guilty at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Jan 18) to an offence of theft and three offences of fraud. The incidents occurred on


December 17 at Aberystwyth, where Cummings spent £72.08 in Peacocks, £25.87 in Superdrug and £47.47 with the complainant’s debit card, which she was not entitled to use. Prosecutor Helen Tench


addressed the court to say that over the Christmas period, Cummings was casually employed by Poundland in Aberystwyth. When she went into the staff room on one occasion to look for her glasses and noticed that a zipped- up bag belonging to her work colleague was left unattended. Continued on page 2
