It’s Time To Focus On Hot Tub Business Say Golden Coast

As Britain’s wet leisure industry watches its busy spring and summer of swimming pool activity draw to a close, the hot tub season is nearing its peak. For Golden Coast and its trade customers, the key to succeeding in this highly seasonal business is promoting the right products and services throughout the year to keep things moving. Golden Coast’s own research indicates that the UK hot tub sector is continuing to grow. A recent survey by Lloyds Insurance has suggested that one in ten households now have an outdoor hot tub, while results from lender Ocean Finance put the figure at one in twenty. Whichever is nearer the truth, there is clearly a large customer base to supply and service. More significantly, around one in five

respondents in the Ocean Finance study said they would like to have a hot tub as a garden feature, showing their high appeal. The same report concluded that British householders are very keen to enjoy outdoor living for as long as the sun shines, with other items on their wish list including built-in barbecues, summer houses, patio furniture and decking. While hot tubs can be sited outdoors for a fresh-air experience under the sky and stars, well beyond the summer, customers may also opt for siting their spa indoors. Whichever they choose, it extends the health and recreational benefits – and the business – through all 12 months of the year. To give customers a sense of what hot tubs and spas have to offer, Golden Coast, the UK’s exclusive distributor of Sundance Spas,

recommends a visit to www.sundance-spas. Here, they will find inspiration and practical advice, including articles on issues most frequently raised by buyers: from how to choose the most appropriate product for their circumstances to how to keep it clean, safe and in top condition. “It’s now open season for hot tubs,” says Golden Coast’s Managing Director Jamie Adams. “By diversifying into this sector and others, pool companies can keep business ticking all year round. “We can see that there is an ambition to be fulfilled in many households, so let’s make sure that customers are given the encouragement and opportunity to make their hot tub dream a reality.” Golden Coast is currently expanding its Sundance Spas Dealer Network. ““Internationally, Sundance Spas is the largest manufacturer and distributor of acrylic spas and is recognised as a premier brand,” says Jamie Adams.

“When you’re dealing with a brand of this calibre, only the best will do, which is why we’re selecting companies with the necessary attributes to represent this premium range. “Working together, our challenge is to alert Britain to the qualities that customers in Sundance’s Californian homeland have enjoyed for so long.”
