The MultiCyclone Goes Commercial

The highly praised water saving MultiCyclone is available in a commercial model and is only available through Certikin International.

Like its domestic sister, its unique filtration system saves water and reduces the need for frequent backwashing and is ideal as a pre-filter to extend the life and improve performance of existing filtration. An ultra compact filtration system, the Commercial MultiCyclone has 70 unique cyclones which are used to remove the debris

from the water prior to the filter to reduce the debris in the filter and potentially reducing the length of backwashing and saving energy and money. With its dual stage filtration, incoming water tangentially enters its multiple hydro cyclones, generating a strong centrifugal effect. Approximately 80% of the incoming dirt load is spiralled down to its sediment chamber.

Maintenance is simple with the unit’s sediment chamber easily cleaned by opening its purge valve. It is easy and quick to install in new or existing facilities. It has a minimum flow rate of 36m3 90m3

/ hr and a maximum of / hr and a maximum working pressure of 3.5 BAR.

Optimised Filtration For Commercial Pools

for larger sized commercial filters. ‘Dead legs’ exist between the laterals and water flow is not optimised through the filter bed. Waterco’s ‘Fish Bone’ lateral configuration eliminates any ‘dead legs’ by improving water flow distribution through the filter bed, thus increasing water circulation and reducing backwashing, saving water and chemicals. Waterco’s digitally controlled filament winding machine faultlessly winds continuous strands of fibreglass filament to create a filter vessel with refined consistency and superior quality. Manufactured in their ISO 9001:2008 certified production facility, Micron commercial fibreglass filters offer proven quality and longevity and are available in top mount, side mount and horizontal configurations with filter areas of 0.87m² to 10.0m² with both the option of nozzle plate or lateral underdrain available, designed and built for many years of trouble free operation.
