users accurate, instant results and are simple to use. The unique hinged waterproof PopTop bottle with desiccant liner protects the test strips from moisture intrusion. Each pot contains 50 strips.

InstaTest Plus 3, 4, 5 and 6 way strips continue to provide a complete range of instant testing of pool and spa water parameters for free chlorine, bromine, total chlorine, total alkalinity, pH, total hardness and cyanuric acid. Speciality test strips are also available.

AQUACHEK® SHOCKCHEK™ – THE TEST THAT TELLS YOU WHEN TO SHOCK AquaChek, the world’s largest manufacturer of swimming pool and spa test strips is

LaMotte’s Portable WaterLink Spin is a revolutionary professional water analysis laboratory

pH, total chlorine, free chlorine and seven other parameters of water chemistry. Specifically designed to be used poolside by a pool service engineer, the WaterLink Spin utilises Bluetooth technology to deliver test results directly to an android device. With a 3G or wireless connection the user can also have fast access to Cloud based Spin-Lab software which allows a full recommendation report to be sent to the android device within seconds. No more guessing at colour changes with comparators and no more waiting for reagents to react, the Water-link Spin is faster, simpler and more accurate than anything that has gone before in the pool and spa water testing market.

NEW ONE DIP INSTA-TEST® PLUS POOL & SPA TEST STRIPS The Insta-Test range of test strips just got better. Instant, accurate results, stable colour development, and no cross-contamination. The new formula is designed for stable colour development which allows adequate time for the user to match very distinct colours along with preventing cross- contamination between pads with the new hydrophobic plastic strip.

Designed for the pool and spa professional and the home owner, the test strips offer

launching ShockChek exclusively through PoolCorp. ShockChek is a breakthrough in consumer testing

designed to help the pool owner identify when a pool or spa needs shocking.

Education is the key to pool maintenance and despite the pool and spa industries best efforts most pool owners do not shock often enough. And when pool owners do shock they probably do not use enough shock product. Shocking should be performed at minimum on a weekly basis following the product specific label directions for shocking. It is widely believed that most pool owners only shock two to three times per month. AquaChek has realised that and developed ShockChek in response.

AquaChek’s ShockChek now takes the guesswork out of when to shock a pool. ShockChek’s unique test procedure and test results interpretation is like none other. Instead of the consumer trying to calculate the difference between free chlorine and total chlorine to determine combined chlorine, ShockChek does that for you and provides the consumer with a simple shock or no-shock result. In fact the colour chart on ShockChek doesn’t even include numerical values. If shocking is required follow your shock products label directions carefully.

Testing pool water for free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, etc., should be performed twice a week using AquaChek test strips. ShockChek test strips should be used twice a week as well.

solutions available to deal with any problems they might be facing – allowing them to bathe in confidence. Insta-Test strips placed in the water assess chlorine or bromine concentration, alkalinity, pH and hardness, whilst Hanna Waterproof Pocket Testers feature LCD screens that automatically inform your customers of their water’s solution calibration and temperature. The Palintest pocket TDS and

conductivity sensors are simple to use. Pocket sized, these instruments check the pH, temperature and conductivity of pool and spa water.

Of course, when customers want a completely worry-free, year-round solution that takes the hassle out of water testing in the first place, Golden Coast recommend automated chemical dosing systems from Etatron. The Italian manufacturer has developed many leading-edge chemical dosing and metering systems, including disinfection and pH correction systems. SPN
