The Florida-Columbia County Doxie Derby, part of the National Dachshund Races, took place on February 22 at the Columbia County Fairgrounds in Lake City. Proceeds benfited DARE - Dachshund Adoption, Rescue & Education (DareToRescue.com). These lowriders with a lot of heart, sure can run. As Jon Bon Jovi once said, “I can tell you this: it’s passion,


not pedigree, that can and will, win in the end.” The National Dachshund Races is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that ensures its events are family-fun and safe for the Doxies. NationalDachshundRaces.org
