Pet Supplies Plus hosted their 5th Annual Parade of Rescues at their Pinellas Park location on Saturday, January 18. The weather was beautiful for the more than 30 rescue groups that participated. “This is an event that continues to grow in participation and attendance each year,” said Pat Hose with Dalmatian Rescue of Tampa Bay and the event coordinator for the rescue groups. “We are forever grateful to Pet Supplies Plus for providing the venue, exposure and continued support. They have been a great partner over the years; a blessing, really for the rescue community,” added Pat. 1) Doc was just hours away from euthanasia when volunteers from A New Leash On Life pulled him from Hillsborough County Animal Services. 2) Can I Sit On Your Lap? Kaiser is a three-year-old Doberman and was up for adoption through Manatee Doberman Rescue. 3) It’s been a busy couple of months for VIP Rescue of Florida as they’ve been called to take in dogs from several hoard- ing situations in Florida and Louisiana. This little pup was one of eight they picked up from Louisiana.
