With the help of Dr. Christine Glenn, the Wellness Clinic Veterinarian at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, Wolfie had a preliminary exam to be fitted for a prosthetic through Denver, Colorado’s OrthoPets. The company donated a casting kit to help determine some preliminary measurements as well. Dr. Glenn took Wolfie with her to the North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC) in Orlando to be personally seen and evaluated by Amy Kaufmann, co-owner and co- founder of OrthoPets and Martin Kaufman, the company’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Technologist.
