November 2-6 FallDance Concert


TheSouthernMethodistUniversityMeadows School of theArts celebrates the 100thanniversary of the institutionbyhonoring accom- plished and gifted alumni. The FallDanceConcert featuresworks by eight of theDivision’smost distinguished graduates:CherylChaddick (B.F.A. 1977),AnnaMarieEwert-Pittman(B.F.A. 1994), Jarrell Hamilton(B.F.A. 2009), JohnMalashock(B.F.A. 1975),Annmaria Mazzini (B.F.A. 1994), JoshPeugh(B.F.A. 2006),Max Stone (M.F.A. 2005) and Jamal Story (B.F.A. 1999). These artistswork extensively in the dance field as artistic directors, performers and teachers, and they were chosento participate inthe concert by a panel of artists and arts administrators fromacross the country. The concert includes four restagedworks fromexisting repertory,newworks by three of the cho- reographers and a piece performed by twoDanceDivisionalumniwho are currently dancingwithprofessional companies inNewYork.
