ABOUT

Company: Vicon www.vicon.com/system/cara

POSITIONED AS THE world’s first ‘out of the box’ facial motion capture system, Vicon’s custom- made head rig features no less than four high resolution, high quality cameras that record 3D data for in-game characters. This data is stored in the Cara logger, which stores up to 64GB with a battery life of two hours. The device is lightweight and comfortably worn on the actor’s back, allowing them complete freedom of movement for a more natural performance. Designed to be modular, Cara works with any number of the four cameras and with your own head rig if Vicon’s doesn’t suit.
