HAVING ALREADY SET the gaming world alight with its first iteration of the virtual reality headset, the Oculus Rift DK2 brings a whole set of new features improving upon the initial experience.


New additions include a low-persitence, high-definition display and low-latency positional head tracking. The development kit also has out-of-the-box engine


integrations for Unreal Engine 4, Unity, UDK and the Oculus SDK, which includes source code, documentation and various samples to help users understand all the various features included.


While not identical to the consumer Rift, titles built with the DK2 will work when the final


headset design hits retail. Speaking to Develop at GDC 2014, Oculus VR co-founder
