Amsterdam, Here We Come!

Vectair Systems’ Managing Director and President, Paul Wonnacott, discusses why one of the most important dates in the Vectair calendar has always been the week in May, every two years, when the ISSA/ INTERCLEAN Show is held at the RAI, Amsterdam.

Many forms of marketing, including direct mail, telesales, e-shots and advertising, involve some kind of intrusion on a customer or prospect, which can often lead to resentment. Exhibitions however, are quite the reverse. Customers and prospects go to exhibitions prepared to give up their time and attention, and in many cases, are often ready to dig deep and buy.

In the digital age, face-to-face meetings happen less frequently, and often, instead of a phone call where we can exhibit the lessening trend of actually talking to one another, we text, e-mail or message. Today we can work closely with colleagues, customers and prospects using cloud apps without needing to meet people in the “real world”. We all at some point in our lives are victims of virtual reality.

Exhibitions however, give us the opportunity to meet face-to-face, and when we do, it really does

count. We aren't meeting to gain information (we can do that just as easily by email), but to change the way that person feels, perceives or thinks about that information and our organization. I love the saying: “A company is known by the man or woman it keeps”

What's new from Vectair

for Amsterdam in 2014? We are excited to have a number of new product launches at the show. Visitors to the booth will preview for the very first time one of the smartest, safest and most unique aircare systems ever invented! Incorporating cradle to cradle design, the brand new V-Air® SOLID is biometrically designed to ensure it is waste-free. It is safer in use than other fragrance systems including aerosols, passive systems and gels, due to the fact that it is completely free of any solvents, propellants, HFCs and harmful volatile organic

compounds (VOCs). It is fully compostable and doesn’t need batteries or any external power sources such as oxygen or hydrogen fuel cells.

V-Air® SOLID utilizes pioneering multi-phasing air freshener technology through a passive dispenser and solid fragrance cartridge, delivering consistent fragrance intensity. Timed release waves of complementary but differing fragrance notes specifically eliminate fragrance fatigue in a revolutionary way, all from one single passive deodorizer.

The V-Air® SOLID cartridge is uniquely constructed from fired ceramic, infused with high quality perfumes, then complemented by an integrated internal fragrance core. These combine and diffuse powerful key fragrance notes that are subtly different, meaning that the start fragrance transforms into something very different over time!
