Campus life Enjoy the best of both worlds at the University of Northampton.

We are justifiably proud of our winning combination of IT suites, world-class research, exciting courses, teaching expertise, state-of-the-art learning spaces and impressive libraries, as well as our excellent sports and leisure clubs, Students’ Union, restaurants and nightlife.

At the heart of what we offer is our close-knit campus community, small enough to be warm and friendly, yet large enough to offer students everything they could want.

Park Campus, the bigger of the two campuses, is set in 80 acres of open green parkland, occupying an impressive and spacious site. Park Campus is home to the School of Social Sciences, School of Health, School of Education and Northampton Business School. Facilities available on-site incorporate a sports hall, Students’ Union, Student Centre, bar and nightclub.

Safe and secure accommodation for more than 1,300 students is spread throughout Park Campus, with the majority placed within our beautifully designed student village combining stunning green spaces with welcoming Halls of Residence.

Just two miles away, and linked by a regular and free weekday bus service, is Avenue Campus, home to the School of The Arts and the School of Science and Technology. Avenue Campus has an excellent reputation as an ‘Arts Centre for all’,

boasting theatre performances, exhibitions and its own art gallery, which exhibits work from established artists, students, graduates and University staff.

The University recently invested £11 million in the Newton Building, home to the School of Science and Technology. Facilities available on-site include Bassett Lowke Halls of Residence with various room options available to suit a student budget, the Students’ Union, student bar and nightclub.

There is a library on each campus, both of which include access to IT suites, a range of study spaces and a wealth of books, journals and electronic resources. Both campuses are also Wi-Fi enabled with free access for students, keeping you connected and up-to-date.

So wherever you are based, everything you could wish for is on your doorstep.
