Train the Trainer hailed a success


The LCN training team held their annual Train the Trainer meeting at the BCI Headquarters in Sussex recently.


It was a busy three-day event looking at new products forA/W 13, previewing the new colour collection and festive novelties. In addition, the trainers experimented with new techniques with gels, and learnt the ‘wet in wet’ technique.


The event also saw Jo Noctor fromThe Retreat in Sutton Coldfield being named as the Top Trainer for 2013.


“Jo has not had the easiest of years on a personal level but has always performed her duties as an LCNTrainer with a brilliant smile on her face and has inspired many newbies in their careers as Nail Techs,” Brenda Griffin, Director of Training at BCI told GN.

Intuitions’ got talent!


To celebrate their 20th anniversary, privately-run training school, Intuitions Ltd wanted to showcase their brightest and most talented learners, by inviting them to create the first IntuitionsArtistic Team and take part in a ‘defiance’ themed photo- shoot to highlight their skills.


The team consisted of two first year Level 2 hairdressing students, Leonie Hughes andMegan Fallon; one Level 2 barbering student, Laura Lancaster; two Level 3 beauty students, Georgie Garner and Sarah Colley and one Level 2 beauty student BeckyAinslie.
