Agri-Industry including Animal Feed Successful Game

Game Engineering is regarded as one of the UK’s leading materials processing and handling engineers specialising in biomass, animal feed and pet food sectors. Game has a team of highly professional engineers who understand the changes in ever more stringent legislation and are able to implement these into the client’s production facilities. Game’s ability to meet and exceed the requirements of its clients manufacturing facilities, results in being able to offer services including design, construct, upgrade, refurbish, extend or improvement of processing facilities.

The principle objective at Game is always to listen to and understand customer requirements and working in partnership with our highly experienced project team in order to achieve the best possible solution and ensure that the plant operates efficiently whilst reducing wastage.

Game Engineering continues to receive further orders from major clients following the completion of many successful contracts over the years. Work was recently completed on a ‘Bulk Out loading Facility’ the client needed to increase production and improve quality and efficiency. The solution included mild steel twin skin storage bins, chain & flight conveyors, bucket elevator, tote bin station and structural support steel with stairs and flooring to provide viewing access into the top of Lorries when filling and for general maintenance purposes.

Furthermore; work on other sites within their group has been completed, justifying the trust that the client has in Game and their overall capabilities.

With technical support provided, one of the largest feed producers upgraded two of their meal conditioning systems by installing above each pellet press, a stainless steel barrel type conditioner together with improvements to the steam and molasses facilities. Careful planning was required in removing all the redundant equipment associated with this project. Continuing on at the same site; Game Engineering was awarded the contract to work day & night in order to replace a crucial section of the processing plant, namely the worn out mixer underhopper, transfer conveyor and mixer steel support

structure which needed to be completed within a critical time period. Having a qualified workforce for 24 hour working was essential to complete the installation within the set deadline. A major poultry feed producer also awarded GAME a contract to replace heavy duty screw conveyors handling in excess of 120 tonnes per hour of cereals from intake to storage. Part of the contract entailed removing the redundant conveyors section by section and replace with new from the top of the silos by a crane. In order to ensure the work was carried out on time and safely in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations a crane plan with an installation programme was necessary.

On the strength of this work with client satisfaction, Game has recently received a further order to replace more conveyors on a very similar set up.

Clients that Game have worked with in the animal feed sector include: AB Agri, BOCM Pauls, Dengie Crops, Humphrey Feeds, I’Anson Brothers and Sun Valley Feeds
