“We are living in one small bedroom, which can make it

challenging sometimes,” Claudia said. “The boys asked for a home from Santa last Christmas and Ronny and I were really trying to fi nd a home, but then we were graciously blessed with Operation Finally Home.” OFH is a national, nonprofi t organization that works with experienced builders, suppliers and supporters dedicat- ed to building homes, mortgage-free for wounded, ill or injured veterans, surviving spouses and their families. Project Manager Ronnie Lyles said he was excited for

OFH to build its fi rst home in Oklahoma. He added Sgt. Sweger is an outstanding man with an impressive military career. “Veterans have always had a place in my heart, and I love meeting these outstanding young women and men,” Lyles said. “I want to give back for the freedoms they protect for us.” OFH relies on sponsors to fund projects. The New Gulf

Resources in Tulsa, Okla., has played a signifi cant part in sponsoring the Swegers’ home. With more than 30 years in the energy industry, CEO Ralph Hill heard about the orga- nization and was immediately interested in participating with the project. “We can’t fi nd a better way to spend time and fi nancially help to give back to a man like Ronny,” Hill said.

Building With a Purpose

CastleRock Builders, New Gulf Resources and OFH have prepared budgets, house plans and the home reveal for the Sweger family. CastleRock Builders and OFH are building the Swegers a 3,700-square-foot, four-and-a-half-bedroom house in about six months.

“Grateful is an understatement; our cup runs over with the blessings that have showered us,” Ronny said. “The en- tire Bixby and Tulsa area has come to help my family and it’s been incredible.” On March 10, about 100 people celebrated the ground- breaking of the family’s new home at Spring Hill Farms in Bixby, Okla. Tears of joy, hugs and gratitude were shared during the ceremony, including a poem, “A Special Thank you to Everyone,” one of the triplets, Brooks, wrote and read at the event. The Swegers are looking forward to having normality with their family again and for the boys to have their own space. Ronny and Claudia said the people helping them in their community amaze them. “Lyles, New Gulf and CastleRock Builders are such out- standing patriots and all I can give them now is a simple, ‘thank you,’” Ronny said. “A home is such a wonderful gift, and we consider them as a family now.”

Jim Long

Ray has farmed since 1949 in Louisiana. 18 years ago, he started planting pecan trees. He planted 200 that first year and then 100 trees every other year and now has 1,000 trees. Last year (2014) in January, at the age of 90, he decided to try Sea Minerals FA on a few trees. Ray is a serious farmer and he keeps good records. As harvest time neared, it was clear that trees fertilized with Sea Minerals FA were loaded with pecans. 5 trees that had been protected from a late frost by the levy had a carpet of nuts under them. “I had never seen that many pecans,” says Ray. “A 50% increase on 5 trees -360 pounds of pecans!”
