an agreement to buy the full output of AMS’s first produc- tion line to support Continental’s demand from its Euro- pean markets and its long-term strategy for the region. Phase 1 of the foundry, estimated at $140 million, will


have an installed capacity of 75,000 metric tons per year and will produce gray iron brake discs and ductile iron brake calipers. Phase 2 of the project will increase the capacity to 145,000 metric tons per year, and Phase 3 will take the capacity to 300,000 metric tons. “Our company’s strategic choice of Abu Dhabi, and

Suzhou Sanji Forms Joint Venture With Shiloh Industries 苏州三基与美国SHILOH公司合资项目成功签约


Shiloh Industries, Inc., a renowned aluminum and mag- nesium diecasting manufacturer, has announced it is forming a joint venture with Suzhou Sanji Foundry Equipment Co. Ltd. in Jiangsu, China. Shiloh will take a 55% stock. Te new plant will introduce Shiloh’s high pressure diecast- ing and squeeze casting technology and processes to produce the CastLight series aluminum alloy castings for automotive parts. It’s expected to be put into operation mid-2016. Te new aluminum casting plant is a greenfield project


with an investment of ap- proximately $30 million. It will produce high pressure diecast- ing and squeeze casting ranging from 500 to 3,000 tons and carry out heat treatment and precise processing. After full production, the new plant will add 130 positions. Shiloh Industries is dedicat- ed to delivering lightweighting, noise and vibration solutions to automotive, commercial vehicle and other industrial markets. Shiloh is focusing on balancing
