The Huntington Botanical Gardens [ SAN MARINO, CALIFORNIA ] Going to the Huntington is a unique experience because it is like visiting a dozen gardens in one stop. Its 120 acres are divided into themes, including the Australian Garden, Camellia Collection, Children’s Garden, Desert Garden, Herb Garden, Japanese Garden, Lily Ponds, North Vista, Palm Garden, Rose Garden,

the Shakespeare Garden, Subtropical and Jungle Garden, and the Chinese Garden. In fact, the Huntington contains the largest Chinese garden outside of China. Devotees also praise its camellia collection and desert garden as being particularly outstanding. If the gardens seem familiar during your visit, it’s because they are often used as a filming location for movies and TV shows. For more information, go to Huntington.org.
