Here’s to the next ten years

After truly establishing the market for deceased account management in the UK, Phillips & Cohen Associates is now in its tenth year of trading and is still looking to the future

Changing the market If I could change one aspect of the market that would benefit our business, and others, it would be around consistency. The industry is changing rapidly and

businesses, of all scales, are making their own, often entirely different, interpretations on the new regulatory framework. This is, sadly, inevitable as organisations

look to raise the bar and set the benchmark across their sector. It does represent a significant challenge

for service providers such as Phillips & Cohen Associates, where we have more than 75 clients! We would also benefit from consistency

in terms of many organisations’ level of realism and willingness to work in partnership. We are investing rapidly in both

technology and people to cater for the ever-increasing client and regulatory requirements, but this takes time and money and can be a challenge in today’s increasingly procurement-led and less certain commercial world.

February 2016

Our leadership team’s goal is to provide a climate where our people focus on finding new ways to enhance the levels of the compassion and compliance that we deliver to customers and clients alike

Priorities for the year ahead Put simply, our key priority has been, and will remain, our people. Phillips & Cohen Associates celebrates its tenth year of business in the UK this year and, across the globe, it is our people, and their commitment to excellence, which has driven this continued success. Our leadership team’s goal is to provide

a climate where our people focus on finding new ways to enhance the levels of the

compassion and compliance that we deliver to customers and clients alike, and that our people are rewarded and recognised accordingly.

Growing into the future As a business, and as people, we never want to stand still. We have witnessed over 20% revenue growth in 2015 – to over £6m – and our Australian sister business grew in excess of 400% in 2015. We work as exclusive deceased account

management partners to over 75 of the UK’s largest financial institutions. We are proud of our position as market innovators, with deployment of new technologies such as Estate-Serve™, Estate Search and we are about to deploy real-time, as well and post-call, speech analytics in the form of Callminer. So our tenth anniversary is certainly a

time to look back and celebrate, but also to look forward to an ever more successful, compassionate, compliant, innovative, and committed future. Here’s to the next ten years! CCR2
