Desde el 2014 a la fecha se desempeña como Jefa de División de Planificación y Presupuesto del Ministerio de Educación. Entre 2007 y junio de 2014 fue Directora Nacional de Planeamiento del Ministerio de Obras Públicas. La nueva Jefa de la Superintendencia e Casinos de Juego, ente regulador de Chile, reemplaza a Daniel García Fernández, quien se desempeñó en el cargo en forma Transitoria y Provisional desde febrero de 2016.


URUGUAY - Enjoy afina adquisición total del Conrad de Punta del Este


La operadora de casinos chilena Enjoy busca hacerse del 55%


de las acciones de Baluma, la firma que opera el Hotel Casino Conrad en Punta del Este, Uruguay. Enjoy ya es propietaria del 45% de Baluma y opera el Conrad desde el 2013.


La compañía se apresta a financiar un paquete de entre


US$350 y US$500 millones, siguiendo la última entrega de resultados. La adquisición del 55% restante de Baluma consisten en un solo pago de unos US$200 millones, en lugar de un pago por cuotas según la opción que Enjoy obtuvo de Caesars cuando compró el 45% del Conrad.

graduated from the Catholic University with an MBA in strategic management and Master in public policy and management, with 14 years of experience in managerial and executive positions. She also has 19 years of professional experience in the areas of public service management, interchange and institutional strengthening programmes, development of new business, planning and management and development of projects, and has been a University lecturer for more than 12 years.


Since 2014, Villagran has been Chief of Planning and Budget at the Ministry of Education, and between 2007 and 2014 held the office of Director of National Planning at the Ministry of Public Works. The new Chief at the Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego, Chile’s gaming regulators, replaces Daniel Garcia, who held the office on a temporary basis since February 2016.

COLOMBIA – IGT firma nuevo contrato de 5-años con Coljuegos


International Game Technology (IGT) ha informado que su subsidiaria IGT Juegos S.A.S., ha firmado un nuevo contrato privado de cinco años para operar el juego de lotería Baloto en

International Game Technology PLC has announced that its subsidiary, IGT Juegos S.A.S. has signed a new five-year private operator contract to run the draw-based game “Baloto” in Colombia for Coljuegos EICE. The private operator contract was awarded as part of a public procurement process.


Under this new contract, IGT will continue operating the ONLINE LOTO-BALOTO game and provide full management services, including the central system, terminals, communications, data centre operations, product, marketing, sales, and field services. The concession will begin in April 2017.


Entertainment, and has been operating the property since 2013.


Enjoy is preparing a finance package of between US$350 and


US$500 million, according to their latest financial results. The acquisition of the 55% remaining in Baluma would consist of a single payment of US$200 million, instead of in instalment payments as stated in the option that Enjoy has with Caesars when the Chile company bought 45% of the Conrad.

CHILE - President names new Casino Regulator


The President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, has announced the appointment of Vivien Villagrán Acuña as new Superintendent of Casinos, following a public selection process from a list of professionals from the Civil Service Higher Management office.
