ABC expands its scheduled services A


irBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has increased its scheduled services in the USA and Asia. The carrier introduced Columbus, Ohio, into its


global network in April 2018 and, effective April 2019, increased the number of scheduled services at Rickenbacker International Airport to twice a week. Sergey Lazarev, general director of ABC, said: “In


2018, our volumes tipped over 5,000 tonnes to and from Rickenbacker International Airport, and we


feel confident that our performance and customer feedback means our second weekly flight will also be well supported.” In Asia, the airline’s schedule was expanded to


six flights to Shenzhen, China, per week; eight services to Narita in Japan; and two flights to Ho


Cargolux has doubled its airfreight services to Budapest and now offers six connections to the Hungarian capital each week. Cargolux will operate an


additional flight from Hong Kong to Budapest as well as two services originating in Zhengzhou, China. All three flights continue on and connect with Luxembourg.


ACE receives AOC ACE Belgium Freighters has received its air operator’s certificate (AOC) as it prepares to launch scheduled and charter services out of Liège Airport. The airline will start operations with scheduled flights to New York, USA. Its fleet consists of a Boeing 747-400, with plans to add a second aircraft within the year.

Atlas boosts Qantas pact Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings has enhanced its aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) agreement with Qantas Freight. Under the terms of the agreement, Atlas Air will operate two Boeing 747-8 freighters for Qantas on transpacific routes linking Australia and Asia with the USA, effective July 2019. The aircraft will replace two B747-400Fs currently in service for Qantas.
