ABB CEO steps down Ulrich Spiesshofer is stepping down from his role as ceo of ABB, a position he has held since 2013. Peter Voser, board chairman, will become interim ceo in addition to his current role, effective immediately. A search for Spiesshofer’s successor has begun.


IMCA technical director The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has appointed Mark Ford as technical director. Previously technical manager, he has worked at the organisation for seven years.

eugro has appointed Philippe Somers as vice president corporate


business development. Somers, who previously served as senior vice president of Industrial Projects at Geodis, will be responsible for the business development of deugro in the North Africa region. He will also support selected


key accounts in the project and oil and gas industries. Somers stepped down from


his role at Geodis in November 2018, as the company


reorganised its project logistics and oil and gas activities.


from Bechtel Dennis Mottola, corporate manager of logistics and manager of Bechtel Global Logistics (BGL) retired on March 1, 2019, after more than 21 years of service with Bechtel and an illustrious career in the project logistics supply chain. Stephen Spoljaricwill


succeed Mottola as manager of Bechtel Global Logistics and Corporate Logistics. Yuliana Wu has been named acting leader of BGL and Corporate Logistics until Spoljaric transitions from his current role. Mottola intends to remain active in the global project logistics industry.
