Former Marylander Jacob Pope won the RIder Style Award at the USHJA Interna- tional Derby Finals at the Kentucky Horse Park in August.


Maryland-bred Saint’s Rainmaker, owned by Margaret Peter- son of Waldorf and shown by Chris Talley and Alyssa Peter- son, won the High Score Colt Award and made Premium at the Zaragosa Acres show in August. The colt is by Maryland stallion Saint Sandro and out of Patuxent Sailor, by Riverman.


Marylisa Leffl er of Rolling Acres in Brookeville won the $50,000 Vermont Summer Celebration Grand Prix with Luminous, owned by Rolling Acres.

Delaney O’Neil of White Hall won the Training division at this year’s US Pony Club Championships East aboard An Irish Blessing. Delaney is a member of Elkridge-Harford Hunt Club and was representing the Maryland Region at Champs.
