ON A RYDELL HIGH: WWwas privy to a truly exceptional spot of blagging this week at the Hays Independence Group Conference onboard Independence of the Seas. During the ship’s sail away party, eyebrows hit the roof when what delegates believed to be the ship’s “dance troupe” took to the stage dressed as The Pink Ladies from Greaseto deliver a full medley of the film’s hits. However, after some wonky footwork, flailing jazz hands and a general chronic lack of basic coordination, the jig, literally, was up. News quickly spread that Rydell High’s finest dancers were in fact a hen party who had snuck their way on to the stage – sorry girls, but you’re definitely not the ones that we want!

Waterloo Whispers... What’s tickled TTG Towers this week?

TAKING IT LYING DOWN: Avoiding a question is something politicians do best, particularly Boris Johnson, whose campaign to get us to leave the EU worked, despite him perhaps not meaning it to. For his next trick, Bozo, a staunch opponent of Heathrow expansion, had threatened to lay down in front of the bulldozers if a third runway was ever approved. But will he stick to this promise? Boris was asked the question as he tried to sneak into his office the back way following the announcement. “The day when they ever appear is a long way off, if indeed they ever materialise,” was all he could promise. We look forward to the sight of him wrestling bulldozers in the mud. Or perhaps we don’t.
