TTG Talk

BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT should be the most appropriate choice serving the whole of England and not just Londoners (“Howard Davies: Heathrow first then consider Birmingham expansion”, ttgmedia.com). Furthermore, Birmingham is well

located in the centre of England and with the upcoming HS2. it makes every sense to invest heavily in Birmingham for the good of all England. Duncan

I’ve long thought that Birmingham would be the best option. Obviously much more central in England and the UK; not that far from London but acknowledging at last that there are

people “up north” who like to fly as well! I’ve heard that Birmingham,

has room and already a good infrastructure. I really hope someone takes notice of Howard Davies. Heather Cragg

Heathrow? I’d rather have Birmingham...

Right to know why Sharm is still banned

I HAVE travelled to Sharm el Sheikh numerous times since the ban (“Industry meets with government to demand lift of Sharm ban”, ttgmedia.com). Our industry is definitely missing an opportunity as the British are flying out via other countries and their airlines. Security has improved at the

airport. The British are desperate to go back to Sharm, so it’s time to lift the ban. If not, we have a right as British citizens to know why. Julie
