BMC NATIONAL HUTS Don Whillans Memorial Hut
The Roaches, Grid Ref: SK 007622 Located at the Roaches in Staffordshire, the Don Whillans Hut lies amongst the but-tresses and boulders of this historic climbing area. The hut can accommodate up to 12 people in two mixed dorms. There are full cooking and dining facilities, a drying room and showers. Park in the lay-by approximately 400 yards away. The hut is leased by the BMC and administered by a volunteer team. It is situated on the Roaches Estate, which is managed by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
