Gold Medal and Travel 2 Golf Day

Emirates Group, Dubai-based dnata employs more than 38,000 people around the world in sectors including travel, cargo, catering and ground-handling. As the travel trade business goes from strength to strength, dnata is committed to growth – both in business and talent. Our people are the

heart of our business and our success isn’t possible without a team of hardworking, committed and motivated individuals. That’s

why we work hard to create a culture that’s centred around our people, including robust induction and training plans, and ongoing support to help people progress and develop. We also adopt internal NPS scoring to ensure we continually listen to our staff and take on board their views and opinions. In turn, to show our

appreciation, we reward staff in a number of ways including hosted events, fun days and

even holiday giveaways! There are offices and call

centres located across the UK and the opportunities to join the business, with any brand or in any business, are greater than ever. Roles within the business range from travel consultants working in the sales centre, and sales representatives on the road, right through to business support functions such as finance, marketing, IT, product, customer service and e-commerce.

MICHAEL HALLIWELL reporting developer B2B UK I started with Gold Medal on a six-week temporary contract in 2011 after completing a degree in Sports Technology. This soon turned into a permanent role in the operations team where I gained a greater understanding of how the business worked. After three years with the operations team in various roles, I then joined the finance business intelligence team as a data analyst. I have recently been promoted to a reporting developer where I am responsible for creating and managing automated reports and also involved in developing the upkeep of financial reporting cubes. I have also obtained an MTA Certification in Database Fundamentals and I’m working towards an MCSA Certification in SQL Server 2012/14. I now have an established career path with clear goals and targets to work towards in the future.
