I have worked in marketing for nearly 20 years, as a studio manager and account director for design agencies. Before joining The UK Holiday Group, I worked at the head for a national sign-making franchise, dealing with design, PR, blogging, social media content and management of Google AdWords. I was approached by a recruitment agency for this role at The UK Holiday Group. I ensure that branded materials and messages are consistent on and offline. We have developed a fresh look for digital and printed collateral and I work with the digital marketing team to create engaging content that we can reflect through social media messages, blogging, annual brochures and direct mail. We send a lot of printed communications, so there is plenty of project management and creative input. We worked long days and weekends during the production of the 2018 Grand UK Holidays brochure to make sure it was perfect before being sent to our customers. Project and time management are crucial, as are a keen eye for design and good writing skills. I love the industry I work in.

I have a degree in communications media and popular music; a Diploma in professional marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing; and I’m a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Learning Advisory Board. After trying to hone a career in the music industry, interning at record labels, I developed a passion for marketing and communications. A communications internship at an oil and gas engineering company led to a permanent digital marketing role. Then I had a digital marketing role at a price reporting agency for commodities. I found out about marketing at the ATPI Group thanks to being part of the Business Marketing Club – a marketing network in London. Working with ATPI Group teams throughout the world, I optimise our online marketing channels including websites, social and email. I help increase our digital presence; build and report on web pages; and update social media channels. I have an immensely geeky passion for marketing and particularly digital marketing. It is the perfect mix of creative and analytical, and I work with teams throughout the business.
