Friends of the Inn Theatre Company I


n 2002 the Inn Theatre Company was founded and we launched the first


ever Dartmouth Shakespeare Week writes Max Brandt. Seventeen years (and many productions) on and we are still going strong. In 2019 we are presenting Macbeth in the open-air at Dartmouth


Castle and are also unveiling our new web-site and the complete re-branding of the company as a whole! This hasn’t been a ‘quick fix’. We have, with the


invaluable help of an ‘angel’, been working on this for over two years and are now really excited to show everyone the fruits of our labour. And along-side this, we are also re-launching the Friends of the Inn Theatre Company initiative. Here’s how it works: For a yearly donation/contribution, you can become a


Groundling, a Merchant or a Lord and Lady. • Groundlings – for a £50 contribution you get two free tickets to the opening night, a free programme and advance notice of all the upcoming company productions. And a warm and happy glow, knowing you’ve helped us to keep producing the amazing, high- quality theatre for which we are renowned.


• Merchants – for an £80 contribution, you’re invited to attend the opening night reception (bubbles and nibbles, meet the director and some of the cast), two free tickets to the night of your choice, a free programme advance notice of future productions with a chance to purchase tickets at a reduced rate. And that happy glow too!

Adam is three months from his 18th birthday and still legally a child. Should Fiona force him to live? trial she is found guilty, taken into state custody and exiled to a witch camp. At the camp she takes part in an initiation ceremony where she is shown the rules surrounding her new life as a witch. Like the other residents, Shula is tied to a ribbon which is attached to a coil that perches on a large truck. She is told that should she ever cut the ribbon, she’ll be cursed and transformed into a goat….
