IT’S leaking badly and for five months of the year it’s an ugly concrete blot...but there are plans to make Greenwich Park’s boating lake great again.


Although a favourite summer spot for generations of Park-goers (right), the 80-year-old feature is shipping water despite recent restoration attempts and is an eyesore either side of summer.


But it could benefit from the Greenwich Park


Park’s own borehole to make it sustainable and then open the lake all year round.
