Christmas Gifts for the
Common Sports Fans

It’s been said that men are the easiest folks to buy gifts for during the
Christmas holidays. And if your brother, husband, son or father is an athlete or a
huge sports fan, shopping for them becomes even easier.
Most youth athletes only want to do three things with their spare time: prac-
tice, practice and last but not least, practice.
And by the time December rolls around, your son may be practicing on the
worn-down soles of the cleats or sneakers you gave for Christmas last year. So
why not place a brand new pair of either under the tree?
Athletic equipment can peak into the $100-plus range, but investing into your
youth’s future is well worth a pricey present.
As for the less active males in the family, you may want to step out of the
equipment department and into the video games department.
No Christmas gift is more popular to the sports video game lover than a fresh
copy of Madden Football 2009. Madden first hit shelves back in August, so if
your brother already owns a copy, surprise him with a copy of NBA Live 2009.
Live ’09 was recently released in October and will be a big seller during the
Christmas holidays, so head down to the local video game store and grab your
copy as early as possible to avoid sell-outs.
Speaking of sell-outs, are you into giving early Christmas gifts?
