BOOK YOUR TASTER DAY PLACE.
Pupils can bring a packed lunch - but hot and cold food and drink are available for purchase at
Taster Days.
the College, and pupils should be reminded that they will need to bring some spending money.
STAYING ON CAMPUS - most pupils will be expected to remain ‘on campus’ for the
whole of the Taster Day, including the lunch break, unless a pre-arranged off-site visit forms
part of the Taster Day.
Suitable clothing is essential –
Benefit from ‘hands on’ practical sessions and input
for ENGINEERING, overalls and strong shoes/leather boots with steel toe caps (NOT trainers);
from staff who have considerable industrial experience and
for EQUINE appropriate footwear and if possible a hard hat;
expert knowledge.
for SPORT - trainers/tracksuit bottoms.
For other ‘Taster’ options outdoor clothing is usually required.

Transport - it is expected that schools will make the necessary arrangements for transporting
buildings and resources.
pupils to the College for a prompt start (10.00 am) and collecting from College (3.00 pm) for
the return journey. (If you are experiencing any difficulties with transport please contact Learner
